Photographer's Note
The 10,000 Buddha monastery can be found in Sha Tin in the New Territories, Hong Kong. It can be reached by climbing a winding staircase with hundreds of lifesize Buddhas on each side, each of which is unique.
It can be difficult to find if you don't know where you're going (as I found out) because there are no signs to it. So if you're interested in finding it take the train to Sha Tin and follow the crowds out of the station and down the ramp. Continue towards the shopping area and turn left towards what looks like a monastery - This is actually a crematorium so don't go in there (Which I did!). Instead take the path along side the shopping centre wall. At the end turn left and you'll see the start of the path.
