Photographer's Note

Hong Kong became a colony to the Great Britain in 1892 and remained under UK rule untill 1997 when the terms between the UK and modern China expired. Hong Kong remains a special region in China, having its own government, currency. One need a separate visa to visit that place. Unlike the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong cars move on opposite side (like in UK) and Hong Kong power sockets are of English style.

The place can boast of wonderful skyline, ultramodern metro, fast and pulsating life style. The de-facto local language is Cantonese, albeit the majority of the locals speak decent English, which is one of the official languages spoken here.

The location has a great number of skyscrapers, around 6400. They are simply magnificnt, built in rocky places, pointing to the sky.

A must place to visit
