A muslim trader is weighing wool he wants to buy from Tibetans up in the grasslands of Ganjia, a few kilometers out from Xiahe, near Qinghai province.

This friendly man was travelling on the highlands in a big blue truck, having driven up all the way from Linxia.

The Ganjia grasslands are a vast high level terrain that makes up the border between the provinces Gansu and Qinghai.

another awesome shot from this area, heck I wish I could have this one in my own gallery :)

A couple of things stand out, the first being the weight, thats pretty darn cool. the other would be the overall lighting and exposure of the shot, its very attractive and sharp looking.

I like the deep concentration & the very determined way he is holding that old bit of kit - a well used scale that was probably state of the art there.
