Photographer's Note
Acrobatic show in Shanghai. Flash photography is prohibited to prevent injury. Sat in the front row then moved a bit away because it was too close (only 120 RMB, oddly enough front row was all that was available when I looked for tickets). Shot ISO 3200 film and scanned on a friend's slide scanner that has GEM processing to reduce the grain.

This is a fantastic picture. It's well-centered and I love how the acrobat's stand just seems to be hanging in space. Hard to believe this was 3200 speed film!

There it is...yes...the amazing 3200 film...my new favorite medium...this is the best one of the bunch of acrobat shots...perfect subject and perfect grain reduction...heh, heh...had to get that in...

excellent picture in difficult conditions... it seems you did not need any flash here you did very well indeed;-) slight grain but life is not perfect, is it? nice shot in the air...

I don´t understand how did you get only 10 points until now with this shot...it´s so well balanced and you clicked in the right moment. The option for B&W is also a good choice...
