Photographer's Note

The huge city walls of Pingyao in China date from 1370 and they enclose the best preserved medieval town in China. The city is fantastic to wander (once away from the beautiful but tourist main street), you can find local life and a rustic atmosphere for what appears to be endless narrow streets and lanes. The city has many old temples, banks and houses. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Good to see another post from you, even if it isn't a trademark Street shot. Impressive place and excellent viewpoint that stresses the height of these walls. A tad more contrast/highlight might be in order...
