Photographer's Note
Yuanyang Tiger Mouth Rice Terrace
Many photos had been published on this famous Rice Terrace and all the guide books had recommend that sunset is the best time to take a wide angle photo.
This is one of the most magnificent rice terraces lying flat on the valley in Yuanyang
I had isolated a landmark part of this magnificent rice terrace. This photo was taken just before sunset when the sun is warm and at a low angle.
Look carefully, you might be able to see the head of a tiger at the top right hand corner and the warm orange light reflection on the dividers of the terrace look like the tiger strips
Can you see a profile of the King of Jungle?
Why not Lion head?
Well, there is no lion in Asia

Tony,
Thats incredible..!! I thought this to be some piece of modern art on seeing the thumbnail. Beautiful composition and a great timing you have chosen, during the sunset. Very good POV. TFS.

Hi Tony,
Truly astonishing view of the paddie fields - one of the best that I've seen on TE. And if you're saying that this was taken just before sunset and all the warming colours are already there, then that is even better, because it relies on your ability to photograph at the right moment. What an amazing sight.
