Photographer's Note
This is a still life picture of a house. Not too many colors, just a window with some blue, and a bicycle waiting for it's owner to be picked-up. The location is at Tongli, an old Chinese village with canals, and old houses which have resisted to renovation, which is obvious all around China.

Hi Izzet.
A nice picture of their daily life. The simmetry is good with the doors and the windows but the detail I like the most is the bicycle.

Hi Izzet,
you have this sense for proportions, symmetries and small tensions, that make you a great photographer. Congratulations!

I got a thing for windows, walls, bicycles especially of they are old
Walked on a lot of old backalleys and streets like these... and don't surprise if the stone slabs lining the streets are even much more older than the houses, they could even be artifacts
I like :)

Merhaba İzzet Bey,
Bisikletin iki kapı arasında olması, pencerenin iç kısmındaki tezat mavi kompozisyonu nefis yapan farklılıklar olmuş... Renk ve dokular harika... İyi haftalar...

Hola Izzet:
Bonita y simple composición.
Tiene dos de los elementos que más me gustan en las fotos, ventanas y bicicletas...
Los colores desgastados le dan un aire antiguo a la fotografía.
Me gusta.

Hi Izzet, I am back at home. Very nice still life from China, where the architectural elements are well considered for a balanced framing, and the bicycle delivers a perfect add-on to balance the total. I like the well-contrasted presentation and the variety of surface textures that are contained in this shot. Alternate title could be "255 | 254".

Merhaba Izzet.
With people or without people this photo works well. The composition show to us perfectly this place where the photo has stopped the time.
It's simple, as the title. But is good too.
Regards.

I didn't know you went to China (maybe I have to pay more attention!). This is a perfectly presented scene, with the bicycle between the two doors. It's so simple, yet everything is positioned in the right place, and the result is very well balanced and pleasing. Excellent!

Hi Izzet,
This place, the whole thing - the doors and windows, the wall, the number on the doors, the pavement and the cycle has that old world look and feel to it. As if they are fighting to stay the way they are. Beautiful work.

And exactly because there are not many colours make it so appealing. That together with the textures and the simplicity make it a strong composition.

Hey Izzet,
Great still life photo! Desaturated effect due to the earthy tones of the surroundings. The blue window is adds a punch to the other elements such as the two doors and the bicycle. Nice!

Classic set up here Izzet. If it hadn't been for the blue of the window it could almost have passed as an old sepia print. Lovely composition. Like it a lot.

Merhaba Izzet bey,

Hi Izzet,
This is so beautiful. I don't usually feel resonance with "bicycle by a door" shots, but this one is definitely an exception. It is the colours, the age of the bike, the old road, the lovely symmetrical composition that make me really fall for it. It is very peaceful, very immaterial in its seeming timelessness...
Thanks,
sasa

Amazing nice soft tones to me. It looks like a jump into the 50's. Pardon me for the reference to the past but I feel like an atmosphere of the old Istanbul you nicely shared with us last year. Sometime, I just wished we could travel back in time as easily as we do in space...
