Photographer's Note
It was a minor Buddhist festival on the Chinese calender so there were many folks burning incense at the Yuantong Temple in Chengdu. Love this place.

Hi Mike
Very old and tradition black and white shoot with good contrast.

Hi Mike,
This image look older than 1996! I like this because of the cultural elements present and I find it interesting because of the size of the furnace as well. I just wonder how much incense they burn daily :-) Are you still using your Pentax K1000?

Hi Mike,
Very well done B&W and this photo does look older then 1996, Very good capture of the ceremony and good contrast. I really like how you didn't over sharpen the photo. Well done Mike.
Regards
Jason.

Hello Mike!
I like this one, especially because of the documentary feeling! This is very well kept through your choice of b&w.
I did a little workshop for you where I tried to keep centre of interest at the woman and the furnace in front. I think there might be to many point for the eyes to wander now, and to few to rest. Hope you like it.
Best regard, Merete
