Photographer's Note

These are fortified towers in the mountains of Tusheti. This is part of the Caucasus mountain region of Georgia.
They were used as defending towers and are probably dating back to the 14th or 15th century.
I think because of the fact that there are quit a few towers this was a more densely populated and quit important area. Although this hard to understand if you look through modern eyes.
