Photographer's Note
Datia ia a small town, not that far from Gwalior, but not so well known among tourists, I believe.
We crossed the town to reach the fort, one of the best examples of the blend of Indo-Islamic architecture. We had the chance to pass in this very small and humble school and talk with the teacher. In spite of the lack of space and even conditions, the children seemed to pay much attention to the lesson.

Hello Ana, What an interesting scene from this school. The conditions are really hard there, but the kids look interested and happy. strange that we see only the boys here. It is great to visit such place away of tourist and see the real life.

Hi Ana,
Excellent view of a original(for us) school, well the teacher and children around, good management for the exposure and the sharpness, tfs.

Hello Ana,
This is a very interesting photo and absolutely relevant for TE, even though it may be less "beautiful" than some natural sceneries. I wonder how much these children actually learn during their years in this school. It's better than nothing, I guess, but it is possibly the strangest school I have seen. This photo is full of remarkable details and tells us a lot about the conditions in this village, or generally of this part of the world.
Kind regards,
Gert

Bonjour Ana
On est assez loin de l'école standard avec des bancs et des tables. Tous les enfants autour du professeur avec des regards brillants d'intelligence.
Amicalement

Hi Ana,
It often seems that those who appreciate education the most are those who have the most struggle getting access. This is an great human interest post, not only a great portrayal of the school room itself, but also the many expresses and faces of the people in the shot. Nicely done.
Cheers

Dear Ana,
Lovely image shared by you especially the three children sitting in the middle of the wall. Cropping is good. This must be a small tuition type school. The children are looking very curiosly towards you. A good one.
Regards,
joginder

ana
jorge
