The Khajuraho group of monuments has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in India, Khajuraho has the largest group of medieval Hindu and Jain temples, famous for their erotic sculpture. The name Khajuraho is derived from the Hindi word khajur meaning date palm. Source wikipedia.

This shot has been taken with nikon d 80 along with sigma 10-20 mm wide angle lens handheld. Resizing, cropping and framing done for final presentation.

Hi Pankaj, very nice shot indeed. I know the hunger of eating up a cake in one go... you have done it so beautifully. Your picture has got singularity in subject and whats very difficult to find in India ...distracter (no poles, nor cables or parked vehicals)

Very Nice composition and colours.....gr8 shot.
One of the most developed and refined expressions of Indo-Aryan genius is to be found in the group of temples at Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh. These however are well preserved now, considering that they have been neglected for nearly a thousand years..

Interesting series on this impressive sight, Pankaj. I'd like to go back to the first one you posted here. Excellent use of the wide angle and great foreground make this the stand-out shot, but I really like the series as a whole. Thanks for sharing these shots here.
