Photographer's Note

Near Bodghaya, India. I came across this woman as I walked down the alley that runs behind her. She never saw me, and didn't know that I was taking this photo. There was a wedding progressing down the street to her left, coming towards her. That's what she was looking at, and what I had used the alley to leapfrog so I could get photos of from the front.

THis is very well done, Elijah. Your capture of the figure in her particular body posture is in perfect tune with your title of the image. Having said that, however, I would have preferred to get this frame in the horizontal format, with a bit more space in front of her, perhaps a receding line of the street yonder, to provide more depth.

good one, conveys the message very well, Animesh brings up good points and having more debths may improve the image, I however like the composition the way it is.
Your exposure is off a bit, overexposed for my taste, please see the workshop.

Great photo. Very expressive, well composed. An colours are a marvel.
Here in Poland yellow is thought to be a colour of jealousy - it can be. Greetings T.
