Photographer's Note
Oh, he missed it!
Shot at Digha, West Bengal, India at 06:30 AM
Digha:
The name of the hamlet was Beerkul – at the northern end of Bay of Bengal, just 183 km away from Kolkata. An English tourist John Frank Smith started living here in 1923. He was so impressed with the beauty of the place that after Indian Independence in 1947, he convinced the then West Bengal Chief Minister Dr. B.C.Roy to develop the location as a beach resort. Dr. Roy was also interested. Within a short time, Beerkul, renamed as Digha, came up as one of the most popular sea resorts of Eastern India.

Good evening Alekhya, an abstract shot, that dead tree is hiding the sunset on Digha beach, interesting photo comment, I can see how the tide is important here, a rip rap and a boat on the right of the photo
All the best

hi Alekhya, there are a lot of things in this photo which can be bettered... But I enjoyed this view as for your innovative idea to show the beauty. I think there is no need to discuss those fault because I think you know it better... Let us discuss the positive sides of it. Your composition is superb with the died tree at front and nicely positioned the sun over it. Like the presence of the boat at right. Interesting colour tone. The fencing at middle is a nice point of attraction. Enjoyed the coloured light near horizon. A good one with an interesting note on transformation of Beerkul. Tfs.
