Photographer's Note
Bangles, the decorative ornaments, have over the centuries acquired a cultural, social and religious significance. Literature has glorified this ornament and has made it the epitome of feminine grace.Glass bangles are generally made and sold by the Kasars, a caste that is solely employed in glass bangle making. They expertly slip wrist size bangles past heavy knuckles without breaking any. These fabulous bangles are handcrafted to add glamour to our outfit! Available in various sizes and colours! Whether formally worn or worn casually, these bangles will complete any outfit.
this shot has been taken near the New Market, one of the oldest market places in Kolkata. this is the great trade time for the salesman as the greatest festival of bengal, Durga Puja, is just knocking at the door.

Namaste Binita. very rich composition, full of colour and patterns.I like the slightly curving diagonal behind which you placed the man- it breaks the angular nature of the rows of bangles. Well done. Regards. Klaudio

Greetings Binita. You have some marvellous shots in your gallery. This one seems slightly tilted, yet the seller is upright! Anyway, I really like the effect of the angles, lines, curves, and repetitions - they make interesting patterns. The variety of colours is marvellous without being oversaturated. I also like the expression of pleasure on the man's face. You have placed him very well in the frame. Very well done and with an interesting note.
Regards,
Andrew

He looks slightly lost in that sea of bangles, and his slightly nervous expression gives him an air of unease.
I'm also not too sure about the tilt; I think you should have kept the shelves in the background vertical.
Still, it's a colourful shot, but I'm afraid the composition lets it down slightly in my humble opinion.
Cheers,
Ben

Binita: the submergence of your character in a sea of Bangles is really appealing. I've tried for this picture before but none have quite reached this level of success. great one. c
