Photographer's Note

This woman was waiting on the stairs of a spellbinding mosque waiting for an opportunity to beg. If you are coming to India for the first time, you are probably feeling a bit apprehensive, not knowing what to expect. This is completely understandable and is something that everyone who travels to India experiences. The glaring poverty and begging are the most confronting and hardest things to accept here in Delhi, where the contrast between rich and poor is so obvious and you never really get used to it. That was just the beginning of many similar scenario's during my time here - very disturbing sometimes.

A quick trigger from the hip aka guess & spat, focus pre-set manually to guesstimate the focal length.
Wonky perhaps, that's exactly as registered by the sensor.
