Hello Subhendu,
This temple is very aptly named; it does resemble an opening lotus blossom. It, also, has a striking resemblance to the Sydney Opera House.
I like how the soft light is playing on the uppermost parts whilst the rest is contrastingly shaded.
You have captured a very gentle mood.
Have a great day,
Bev :-)

Hi Subhendu
can see why this would be compared to the famous Sydney Opera House, it is so strikingly similar and just as eye-catchingly beautiful. A superb POV and captured in irresistible light. Looks amazing!

Hi Subhendu,
A very good capture of this very interesting architecture. Was this built earlier or later than the Sydney Opera? This is indeed a very fine capture!
Kind regards

Hi Subhendu,
This is one of the most beautiful modern temples in Delhi area. You have captured if from excellent angle with many nice details and textures. I've visited it during sunset, 2 years ago. The roof details were not as excellent as in your photo.
Very well done.
Greetings,
Miro

Bonjour Subhendu,
J'aurais juré que c'était l'Opéra de Sydney. C'est très vrai maintenant que je le regarde que ce bâtiment ressemble beaucoup à une fleur de lotus.Un très beau jeu d'ombre et de lumière.

Hello Subhendu,
As others have already pointed out this building strongly resembles the Sydney Opera, but it also strongly resembles a lotus flower, which makes it deeply rooted in Indian culture. It is a striking building in any case and the people at the front make us understand its dimensions. I guess this was taken in the morning when the light was still fairly mild and the colours very pleasant.
Kind regards,
Gert

As many have commented, this does remind me of the Sydney Opera House but I can see too why it is called the Lotus Temple. The petals are so elegant as they appear to unfold in the sunlight. A superb piece of architecture which hints at its location. Fascinating and lovely image. Warm regards Rosemary

Hello Subhendu,
I love this minimalistic composition and its elegance. The wings of roof remind me of the famous opera in Sydney. The presence of couple of people add some life to the picture and gives us sense of scale.
Well framed and perfectly sharpened picture.
Thanks for sharing

Hello Subhendu,
a very interesting presentation of this lovely, symbolic building. You used your upward point of view aptly and created a smart composition that has left out of the frame the brilliant sun but has featured a fine play of light and shade. I like very much the subtle tones that match very well the peaceful feelings inspired by this religion. The elegance and dynamism of the architecture are wonderful. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely week,
Ourania

Hi Subhendu
i've seen many photos of this temple...but is it just like any other temple in Indian Culture - on the inside? or is it completely unique and very different from the classic Indian temple inside...never seen an indoor photo of it before...
this is a subject very high up on my travel list, its a must see.

Namaste my friend Subhendu,
the low light of the morning creates a very nice shades on the voluptuous shapes of this amazing architecture, which it reminds me a bit the Sydney Opera.
The composition has a good structure of its elements, these curves are beautiful, but the presence of people in your framing adds a good vitality and an efficient reference of the dimensions of this temple.
A great work.
Best regards,
Josep
