Photographer's Note
As I mentioned in my previous post, I wanted to show at least 3 main posts from this amazing Mosque Jama Masjid.
This time however, I'll change it up a bit and show an indoor scene. In the WS i'll post a couple more as well, but one from the rooftop and one with many locals. After this post I'll move onto something else.

Hi Craig
Great series of three photos from Jama Mosque. Here you captured not only the fabulous interior but also what is an everyday scene when people come to pray.
Love the use of the patterns in the foreground. They make the image look so 3D.
Best wishes

Hello Craig,
I like the often quiet and contemplative ambience inside many mosques, where people come not just for praying. The carpets usually add beautiful colours and probably help to lower the noise level. This photo captures this atmosphere well. The fine light is a clear bonus to the photo.
As for your question about Bulgaria, I would say that Romania has a lot more to offer, especially the Transylvanian region with several fine cities and villages and a beautiful scenery. In that part of Europe I always also recommend Albania, but nobody seems to believe me.
Have a nice weekend,
Gert

Hi Craig,
You have captured well the concentration of the persons. The point of view is showing the details of the prayer room of the Mosque. The surrounding light has a good effect on the colours. Have a nice day.

Hello Craig,
A quiet moment inside the mosque, but an exquisite taken pic., with light and relative distance from the wall ahead.
Shown well the returning pattern of the rug, gave good texture to the humble interior.
Wish you a nice weekend,
Ike

Bonjour Craig,
Je me sens toujours bizarre quand vient le temps de photographier des gens au moment de la prière. Une certaine gêne s'installe. Ici, c'est bien fait car c'est leur dos que tu nous montre.
Bon samedi

Hello Craig,
Beautiful interior shot. The earthy colors and exquisite design continue, and it's nice that only a few people were sitting there. I also really like the WS photos. The colorful clothes are great, and we got to view the rooftop, too. :-)

Ciao Craig
le due foto del ws sono molto belle, ma questa ha sicuramente qualcosa in più per meritare la prima pagina, del resto è qui che l'hai messa e se lo merita.
Buona domenica

Hi Craig
Looks a huge architectural beauty presented to its best effect using the available light and here it positively sparkles, you have done really good with the exposure. The framing is a cracker when the red carpet makes for a good lead in to seal off the bottom frame where the prayers anchor so effectively. It a graceful show of delicate detail with good sense of proportion and tranquil at the same time. A delightful indoor shot, Congrats.
PS: Your additional pictures help us to appreciate their elaborateness much better, tfs
Best wishes

Hi, Craig.
A fantastic composition, with a perfect symmetry in which the mihrab is captured, the faithful put an intimate touch to the composition, while the stripes of the carpet, contribute to give a sense of greater perspective.
Very effective colorful, highlighting details of the image.
Good management, both brightness and sharpness.
Very well done. I like it.
Enjoy Sunday.
My best wishes for you.
Luis.

Hi Craig
Rare de voir l'intérieur d'une mosquée, comme je vois cela n'est pas interdit de prendre en photo avec la présence de personnes, il est vrai que c'est de dos, sauf un qui est curieux :-) intéressant détails et couleurs

The ensemlbe of prayer mats always makes a great photographical pattern. I love the way the three people are distributed within the scene too. Great to see an inside shot from the mosque here.

Hi Craig,
A typical Islamic alcove inside the Mosque. I like the repetition of the striped patterns all leading to the recess and providing perspective. Tfs!

Hello Craig
For me, it's a good summarize of the East, with a good perspective of the carpet leading my eye to the praying men in front of the sculpted corner. The addition of people is essential

Hello Craig,
This is very nice view of the mihrab, with all the prayer rugs pointing to it. I wonder with what the bookshelves are stocked, those books are laying too casually to be Qurans.
The name of the mosque is interesting, too. "Jama" is presumably mosque, masjid is a smaller version of a mosque, the name is like "Church Chapel". I am sure these words have more specialized uses in India.
Cheers,
MT
