Shades and Shadows, a photo from Delhi, Nord

Photographer's Note

As I probed one of the dark chambers of a monument in Delhi this is what i got to see of the main entrance during a well lit evening...then this man decided to stand somewhere in the line of the light and give me this tremendous opportunity to capture his shadow falling on the patterns of the gateway.

I'm not sure about the white frame around but i can not suggest the better one, so let it be :)
I like the "frame in fame" thing - thw window, the siluethe, the arque.

Aadiil,
a very opportune moment to trigger the shutter. The shadow of that men is extremely important for this shot. It makes the whole photography get alive. The quadrangular presentation is a very good one and despite the white framing reducing the image considerably it enhances the shot a lot.

Hello Aadiil,

This composition works very well for me, I don't think that the white frame is too large, and I like the sharp edges that it creates with the black majority of the image. I like the slim line illuminated section and the sole person standing there. It is both intriguing and abstract in form, which is rather attractive. Lighting is mysterious and inviting. I really enjoy your photographic style. Thanks for posting this one for us!

You are really becoming an expert at finding and photographing these amazing light and shadow shots. I like this one with all the surrounding dark and then just a strip of light with all that detail and colour in it. The shadow of the man also gives a strange effect. Nice work!
