Photographer's Note
This was taken at the New Delhi Railway Station.
FYI - This little guy in the pic is actually an adhesive addict (commonly sold as Quickfix & Addlelite etc). These guys would beg, borrow or even steal during the day, then buy the gum, put in a cloth and suck it. It is one of the most dangerous addictions in the world as they are taking Lead (Pb) directly inside their system. I have worked with these kids in a rehab center, its a nightmare to get these kids back on the right track. NEVER GIVE MONEY TO KIDS IN THE RAILWAY STATION, BUY THEM FOOD INSTEAD.
Thanks a ton to all of u for the comments. If I play with the contrast ... for the kid .. the pic looks too flat. Its a personal choice to keep it like this. Again thank you for the comments.

Very interresting composition, good DOF.
I feel the subject is a bit too dark, and would be better with more contrast.

Nice, pov, pdc and perspective.
It is a pity the kid is in the darkness preventing a better appreciation of his face and body attitude.
Thanks,
Al.

Interesting subject and a good picture. I would straighten it a bit though and crop in closer to the boy.

Powerful picture Devjit and great note. I think I would have increased the contrast a bit. But overall, great DOF and POV and cropping. Thanks for sharing!

The specular light reflecting from the steel rail tracks and the bright sky seem to have fooled the camera meter to take a wrong exposure reading. This has resulted in loss of shadow details. For such photographs, I would suggest going close to the subject and metering off his face and locking exposure then going back to re-compose and take the pic. Another way is to meter off the back of your palm and then photograph according to the meter reading taken.
Cheers, Rajnish
