Photographer's Note
After crossing the Khardungla Pass i headed for the Nubra valley ( North Ladakh ). The first peaks of the famous Karakoram Mountains were an eye-catcher.
This one with a perfect frosting..with the Sayak River( Nubra River ) river shot through the moving car...
Loved the timing in this one..Hope you like it
Cheers

Hello sayeed,
I can see a part of the road in the fg..that makes me realise what kind of view this must have been....I loved the water and the snow covered peak here..looks like Mt Fiji..!!
Very good composition which shows all the properties of the landscape pretty clearly..!!
Great one..!!

Lovely. I think you needed a bit of contrast and clarity. Do try to stop the car when shooting such breathtaking landscape.

Hello Sayeed,
It looks cold, but the view is awesome. I have travelled the main road from Srinagar to Leh, quite different from this scenery but really spectacular too.
Best wishes,

this a great trek shot showing the topography and formations of the ancient rocks and cut bed of the river
your moving shots are quite lucky in a way..mine always come out distorted and show a blurred piece of foreground
good work
cheers

I like the view sayeed, its devastatingly beautiful...if an expression like this exists!!I like this composition. Considering that you captured this from a moving vehicle makes it even more special as the 'hurry' does not show anywhere

Sayeed,
just love this kind of views, of places, barren, wild, magic. The feeling of cold comes out well and I like the very natural colours, and good composition, showing us a lot. I've done a little Worskhop to redress that tilt:-).
Square format works very well.

Hi Sayeed,
This seems to be a breathtaking place!!!Mountain landscape like this are really a treat to watch. I would however liked a little more contrast and I feel there's a tilt in it!! Any ways its a beautiful sight.

Sayeed,
the landscape and your composition really deserved stopping the car and getting out for some finer tunning of your camera.
You should have gotten out with a tripod and possibly a ND grad filter. Primer to get the ultimate sharpness and latter to tone down the almost borderline overexposure of the sky. A polarizing filter on top would have given magnificent details and contrast in the clouds.
But hey, photography isn't always about the perfect conditions, but compromising with what we have and with whom we're doing a trip. Right?
Peter
