GOLDEN TEMPLE II, a photo from Punjab, Nord

Photographer's Note

This is another photo of the golden temple as seen from the backside.This temple in the city of amritsar in punjab in north india is a holy place for the sikhs(a religion in india) as it is their pilgrimage centre(gurudwara).I have already given a note in my previous photo posted of this place where i have said that on the entrance to this temple there is a small pool of water which the pilgrims have to step into,in order to wash their feet;also every other person who is a non-sikh has to put a handkerchief or any other cloth on his head as a covering(the sikhs already have their turbans).The white structure to the right of the temple in this photo,is the entrance.Anyone who is planning to visit north india should make a stopover at this place and visit this wonderful temple which is gold plated.Amritsar has also got other places like the famous Indo-Pak Wagah border just a few kms. from the city and also the historic jallianwallah baug.

I like the composition and point of view.Good reflections in the water.Good light and sharpness.I like the contrast between the building and the sky.Good colors and contrasts.Well done!

Nice capture, good composition with the reflection and the little platform in the foreground. Wish there was some human element and this would have been a great photo.

Nice photo with good reflection and very intresting note. The composition is good and it looks like you had some nice weather conditions. The only minus is that the photo is a bit small. You can photo max 800 pixels wide photos, which bigger than this.

Hi Ravish. This is a very good composition, though a little small. The reflections are wonderful, the scene interesting, and I really like the foreground walkway, which is also well portrayed. You have an excellent eye and I look forward to viewing more of your work. Regards.
