Photographer's Note
This is in continuation of my series from Kumbh Mela. A Sadhu and his disciple walks across a temporary bridge across the Ganga towards the confluence.
Tomorrow (January 14) is Makar Sangkranti, one of the holiest days in the Hindu religious calendar, when an estimated 10 million devotees, saints/sadhus is expected to take the ritual bath in the holy waters of Sangam (Confluence) of the three rivers Ganga, Yamuna and the mythological Saraswati in Allahabad. According to tradition, these holy rivers offers purity, wealth, fertility and wash away the sins of all those who take bath. Apart from the ritual bath, other activities include religious discussions, devotional singing, mass feeding of holy men/women and the poor, and religious assemblies where doctrines are debated and standardized.

Interesting shot of the serie.
I like it but I think is probably a little too contrasted or saturated.
Best regards. Grazyna.

Great shot Sabyasachi!
Your pictures are so easy to recognize in thumbnails. I think it is because of the big white frame and the bright colors that you use so much.
This one is no exception with the colors, and i love it.
Also it was a good choice to take the picture from a low pov.
Really nice work

They look in a hurry on both photos! Or, is that the way they walk? Again, an excellent compo and superb colours. Very well done.

Hi Sabyasachi,
Your attention to detail is excellent. Your composition is spot on, if you have moved slighty to the right or to the left
the image would not have been this strong. Really good work.

Hi Sabyasachi
This low angle view is great and you framed this well with the repetition of the 'sticks' going far into the depth. interesting to capture that bird too. informative notes about the holy day.

Hi Sabyasachi. There is a strong sense of purpose in his stride, contrasting nicely with the more reticent gaite of his compamion. The colour is rich and the composition wokrs bery weel. The bird in the skty is a ncie touch. Regards Kevin

Really good photo Sabyasachi. Love that gentle baby blue sky and that orange suit the man is wearing. Those two elements really go well together in the frame. Your low direct pov is so good and the fact they are facing the camera is a bonus. I wish this photo was mine cause it's a composition I find very personal. Like it a lot!

Good shot with these two very colourful men, between the red and white railings. The bird is a little distracting, but you have no control over when they will swoop into the picture. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Sabyasachi,
This shot is greta. The perspective of the bridge leading to the people in the background draws our eye into the shot. The stoop of the man and the colour of his clotihng really stand out. And finially the bird makes the shot complete and adds that extra bit of interest.

Hello sabyasachi, a photograph showing a sight all in lines and the characters in their dress of ceremony, the whole in a pleasant decoration, There is a good balance between the light and the management of contrasts which confer on the image a good made photogenic, the framework is filled as well as returned well colors for a tonality in the colour which I appreciate, a pretty point of view which immediately inserts to us in the image J'adore these pictorial displays, like here, this bridge is well emphasized with the prospect and always an irreproachable care for l`exposition for the sky, as well as an interesting note to explain it in a friendly way ...................Hello sabyasachi, une photographie montrant une vue toutes en lignes et les personnages dans leur habit de cérémonie, le tout dans un décor plaisant, Il y a un bon équilibre entre la lumière et la gestion des contrastes qui confèrent à l’image un bon rendu photogénique, le cadre est bien rempli ainsi que le rendu des couleurs pour une tonalité dans la teinte que j’apprécie, un joli point de vue qui nous fait immédiatement entrer dans l’image
J'adore ces présentations graphiques, comme ici, ce pont est bien mis en valeur avec la perspective et toujours un soin irréprochable pour l‘exposition du ciel, ainsi qu’une note intéressante pour expliquer la photo, bien amicalement

The rich and diverse culture of your country provides some wonderful opportunities. Another well composed image of the holy people arriving for the ceremony. The stride of the man in front is very purposeful and you have timed your shot to capture that so well. Another good work.

Hi Sabya. All the technical aspects are good here especially so, considering the harsh contrasty light. A matter of taste of course but maybe a little off the right? Please read my updated intro regarding my critiques.

Hi Sabyasachi!
Good shot and good title (for the comming day).
Good composition and excellent POV.The wideangle makes a nice perspective and there is a great depth given by the balustrade and the repetition of their shadows. The man in orange seems to walk fast.

Superb picture for a fantastic man. He seems to be so much in his walking, with his "big feets" (maybe due to a wide angle). Nothing could stop hin it seems. What a determination. great catch!

Hello again Sabyasachi.
Nice handling of the obviously bright day. You've retained some nice colors here while not letting things become oversaturated. The bird flying over the shoulder of the desciple is a wonderful moment with quite a story to tell.

Dear Sabyasachi
An impressive POV yet again...the railings does help in the perspective. I like the small details like the long shadows & the flying bird & the tents one can see in the BG.

Bonjour Sabyasachi,

Hi Sabyasachi
What strikes me first about this image is the way the man is hunched over. He really looks to be in a hurry. Him being followed by the lady and the bird and the lines of the fence add to the dynamics. The colours are so strong and nicely saturated too.
Regards
Nikki
