Hello Vivek

Even festival goers need to eat once in a while. This is a beautiful moment and I just love the amount of attention this child is showing the camera.
It is a bit of a pity that the top was cut away, but I still feel the face is getting the full attention.

Wow Vivek. This is quite a unique shot. The young man munching away on his cracker with so much facepaint on...remarkable. The lighting here is fantastic, enough shadow to turn his eyes into two black globes. Given the relaxed action that he is engaged in, his glance is very intense...great shot.
This Sigma lens looks quite good, how do you like it?

This is a rare capture. i wonder how people really accept little kids as sadhus, more of a belief into an incarnation of someone/god and all that! this phot also depics how the kid is lifted to the level of the enlightened and being with the innocence at the same time.

Thats a quintessentially Mysitcal India shot Dragon Vivek which captures every India that has made India famous all over the world. The mini sadhu with all the trappings is an interesting subject. The lights are full blodded and colours striking. The composition is great with good pov and nice eye contact, the biscuit and the plastic beads are the only modern elements in sight.

This is absolutely superb Vivek!
Never mind his wonderful outfit, what really makes this outstanding is the expression on his face; he looks a bit puzzled and unsure of what's going on, but is comforting himself with his biscuit.
A great portrait, one to be proud of.

Quite an incredible portrait. I've never seen so yound a sadhu...but is he really one? With the paint pasted on his face & flowers & turba, his eyes & the simple action of munching a biscuit brings out his innocence. Very well captured

Great portrait of the small Sadhu (until now, I've seen only adult portraits from the Kumbh Mela) very well detailed with the ashes, the colored powder, his bright yellow turban, the marigold, the crystal necklace.. I like his serious expression, the way he is eating the cookie and his big eyes. The light is fantastic too... Well seen, it goes directly to my theme "more fav.pictures".
