Sohrab, again a wonderful image. The way that cow and woman are looking at each other is quite something. Well composed street scene, full of intersting details to observe.

Excellent 'daily life' shot. Busy but not confusingly so - I particularly like the action going on in the background... and the cow is cool too.

I like this one again. Nice scene.
One thing I don't like at all, the kind of frameyou chose.. i know it's trendy one, i I don't like trendy things..
may be I would have cropped the man 's leg on the right..

This is much better than yesterdays Sohrab, at least IMO. Good exposure on this one and a nice, contrasty shot. If it is possible, I really like the look on the cow's face. I also think it is good how they woman and the cow are meeting as they come around the corner. Strange stuff for a westerner like myself, I really need to visit India (maybe in August). The group of people in the background is good as well, although the spot on the white of one woman's clothing annoys me more than it should. Good shot Sohrab.

Nice scene of life. The leg ... yes, but the cow and the woman attract attention, so it's a detail. Streetlife ... so the man can scratch his ... it gives life (hahahah).
good exposure, and good choice of b&w.

This one I like much better, and I think also it's better not to show the photo to compare with :). The moment is perfect, as well as technique - in this case perfectly chosen for this theme.
Crop by Claude is good, but I also like this one as well, as there is something interesting going on inside.

i like this daily life of benaras.
i think that your version with the legs and many other details is interesting but i prefer the more contrasted touch from the Claude's WS.
a great atmosphere and a perfect moment.
i can wait to be there...

A streetshot which captures a lot of atmosphere,Sohrab!The meeting between the cow and the women together with the group in the background is great.But overall there seems to be a sad mood in this picture.A mysterious and timeless shot.

This is timeless. I mean that in every sense. The DoF is perfect, resulting in an interplay b/w the two foreground subjects. This is impressive work Sohrab.

...as for the ass-scratcher ;-) What comedy! It may be better to crop like you say because the humour doesn't quite fit. Ha!

I still can't get over seeing cows in such cityscapes. When I was in Mumbai a short while ago, people must have thought I was absolutely bonkers as I kept laughing out loud.

This picture epitomises that experience for me, with the curious cow popping into some kind of shopping scene, but completely unnoticed.

Great captues of the scene, and I love the lighting in particular. The cropped version didn't do too much for me as the two women and one man huddled under the fabric roof at the back are an important part of this image to me

i like very much sohrab. the cow seems very huamn in your oicture, totally participating with the movement of the other people. I am not very fond of your frame which i find more distracting that anything else

I agree with Caude here, cropping the half man works better for the compo, but another facsinating daily life shot. Have you started a cow series here?

it looks as if they are two citizens, one coming out and the other getting in to a government place, which will take hours to do a small thing (what a story I made up..I am not sure why this came to me...
