The Guard, a photo from Sikkim, Northeast

Photographer's Note

These are among the mountains that have surrounded the holy Gurudongmar Lake.They are there as if protecting this lake as a guard.Apparently they are very close and easy to climbing over it but I've heard that nobody has succeeded till now.

This is a wonderful capture of the high peaks against a deep blue background and the glistening snow on the peaks.Nice information to accompany the photohgraph making it all the more interesting

Hi Ambar,
These peaks look like ice creams!!!!!Good POV, but I would have preffered a bit more of the foreground. It seems a bit compreesed. However, I love these massifs you know, so I am delighted to see it.
