Ta photo est superbe avec ces deux hommes, chacun dans ses pensees, et ce beau train bleu comme on en voit qu'en Inde il me semble...
Ta series sur l'Inde est une revelation - variete extraordinaire et un oeil infallible.

Très bonne composition !
Ambiance du voyage et des attentes et va et vient d'une gare bien présente sur cette photo !!
Ce fond avec ce train bleu donne beaucoup de valeur a ta compo..
également bien vue le cadrage qui des 2 côté commence avec cette barrière métallique..
Du tout bon

Happy you are safe, too many bad news these days...

That's a superb composition. The two people looking thoutfuly in different directions, the lines in the metal door, the train window bars, the blue tones of the train and the complementing yellow station names - a wonderful capture.

Thanks for sharing a typical South Indian shot. It refreshes my memories. I notice many of TE travellers visit the Northern part of india that ends in New Delhi. Very few like you go to souther part. There are lots of daily life activity we can learn from this. First of all, the men are wearing white shirt with cuff rolled up. There is a reason for that and it is the usual steamy hot climate. Pondichery is a coastal town and has lots of rich history behind. And the white is a symbol of Gentlemen representation. most of the southern cities in Tamilnadu (I can't talk for other states) we can see rich or poor wearing a white shirt. especially cotton white shirt. Some wear fresh shirt every day and all they will have is a white shirt and white dhoti which is a traditional Indian wear for men. Thanks for sharing again.

hell alain, très belle image avec le train entraperçu entre les deux homems, mais alors tu viens de m'apprendre quelque chose, il y a un train entre Chennai et Pondi? je ne le savais pas, oui cette photo comme à Francis, me fait penser aux pauvres gens morts hier dans cet attentat...

J'aime bien celle ci, très belle compo avec les losanges de la grille,les barres aux fenêtres, ce bleu superbe.
Les postures sont bien aquilibrées, et cerise sur le gateau, on a même la destination du train.

Hello Al,

Very well focus on the man. I have used Sandip's 350D with the 50mm in my Train Series, and I see lovely control on focus with that lens. I really like the framing here. The mail frame...then the gate...and then the windows...I like this kind of Frame within the frame composition.

I have added two of your picture in my theme. Hope you don't mind.

J'étais pas très présent ces jours...mais je suis de retour ;)
Je l'avais vu celle-ci, en vitesse et j'avais accroché dès la vision de la vignette.
J'adore ce métal qui débute et finit l'image, il encadre superbement le tout.
Le wagon en fond...splendide, les deux types, le de profil, l'autre de dos, positionné pil poil dans l'image, pis la gestion de cette lumière (certainement pas évidente)....yep....du très bon !

c est super bien vu cette compo autour de ces grilles, comme un rideau au theatre. (oui je sais ... fait chaud a BCN)
mais bon, j aime bcp, les deux gars, la lumiere qui effleure les visages et les chemises. et le bg est tout a fait approprie. une belle tonalite generale bleutee, c est tout bon pour moi.
