Photographer's Note
It was a long day of travel covering more than 300KM in a single day on the harsh terrains of Ladakh, we settled for a quick lunch as sun was ready to set. Sarchu has a tiny collection of much needed tented restaurants as there are only few on the whole stretch. We were resting on the bedding inside and as the two women were preparing our lunch in the co-located open kitchen.
