This is my last photo from Kerala’s fascinating backwaters.
A man walking towards his village, watching fellow fishermen which most probably also heading home.

Hello Miro,

You're capturing well this pastoral scenery by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the spectacle which the man is walking the footpath of lake and going home while watching fishermen on boat. it's also beautiful rural scenery with lake and rich greenery. And, the reflection projected to the lake draws out a good impact in this image.

Hello Miro,
beautiful scene with nicely captured,unique charm of it.It looks so peaceful and calm on your image.
What I like more about your composition are these "layers" of water,the greenery line,than again the water and the land on the other side.It creates very nice graphical layout of the picture.

Hello Miro,
Distance from the young man in orange traditional gawn, and the boat on far, created a nice DOF and contrast on the image. Pic. divided in levels of green veg.'s and water in two parts.
Fine reflected figure on close range.

Salut cher Miro

A very attractive daily life scene. The bright orange of the lady's costume contrasts wonderfully against the silver blue water and the reflections are well captured. I also like the detail of the 2 men in the canoe in the BG, which look to have been selectively brightened during post processing. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful view of the famous backwaters of Kerala Miro, the guy lives in that unique aquatic environment with canals, boats, coconut palm groves with many fishes and prawns available, he wears the traditional lungi, a brillant report from the west coast of India, all the best, have a nice day

Hi Miro,
Fine composition on this, the colors and tones of the natural scene are very appealing, and broken perfectly by the vibrant striking color of the persons robes. Its brilliant that we have the persons reflection in the water, while in the upper left, the boat is not reflected, almost creating two scenes from the one. Really nicely caught.

Hello Miro - The orange clothing of the figure is superbly contrasted against the rich greens of the landscape. I find the boat in the BG looks rather strange, perhaps an addition or over-sharpened but with some careful PP work it could be softened to look more in harmony with the rest of the shot which is beautiful. The focal length and selected dof have allowed focus to fully concentrate on the lower half of the frame - thus onto the eye catching orange dressed man with good hint of bg softness. The reflections and contrast in colours are just the right combination to create the sensation and vibrancy, but Imho by swinging the view finder to the left slightly will render a more dynamic shot to the compo. Love tranquil shot. tfs

a lovely composition of layers in which two wonderful colours alternate, setting off with the contrast they provide the two focal points with human interest. The colours and the textures seem to give an effective and sufficient description of the scenery. I like very much the sense of movement and the connection between the man in the foreground and the passing boat. Congratulations and thank you!
