Golden Cultivation at Pahelgam (J&K), a photo from Jammu and Kashmir, Nord

Photographer's Note

Hello my dear friends,

This is my another shoot when I returned from Pahelgam to Srinagar at the end of April, 2014. We were passing this cultivated field at the bottom of famous Pin Panjal range where women were engaging for cultivation and sheepherder also took care their cattle. This is a daily life of Srinagar and its adjacent village areas.

I got an opportunity to shoot this beautiful moment and Kashmir is always favorite for photographers.

a fine photograph of everyday life with the people labouring in the fields with the sheep nicely placed across the vertical corners.

Hello Swapan,
This is a brilliant and very attractive photo. It shows an interesting part of daily life in Kashmir, the colours are beautiful and the composition is very nicely arranged with the people and sheep seen on a diagonal. In the background we get a glimpse of the beautiful scenery of the Kashmir valley. It is also a technically superb photo, very well done.

An agriculture daily-life scene on the green fields of rural Kashmir, well taken from the roadside.
A family bussy cultivating their estate and taking the herd on a daily "tour".
A pic. that is very sharp, a bit detected "noise" which can easily be "traeted" on Photoscape. Hope you do not mind me writing this.

Hi Swapan.
A special treat to see this photo, although I know of this place, it is the first time I think I have seen a post of its beauty here on trekearth. It's a fine agrarian Scene that shows real life, and the combination of the people and the livestock is great. They also create an excellent diagonal line across the view. You really chose the perfect angle from which to shoot this scene, thanks again.

What first struck me were the wonderful yellow flowers in the fields and also the white flowering trees. They make this picture to a splendid spring scenery.
You present it with a very interesting foreground composed by the farmworkers and the shepherd with his sheep.
In the distance we see the misty mountains of Kashmir.
Very well composed and executed.

Strangely enough it looks like rural Turkey around Eskisehir to Afyon stretch of road. The bright yellow canola, rapeseed or mustard (I can't tell them apart) contrasts well against the hazy blue grey bg top right. The sheep and herdsmen and woman cultivating the fields, animate the scene. Tfs!
