The Sunset at Dwarka, a photo from Gujarat, Ouest

Hello friends,

I visited February, 2016 in Dwarka . This is my another post of sunset in Dwarka. I shoot it when the sun was partly immersed in the Arabian Sea.

Dwarka, the mesmerizing kingdom of Lord Krishna. Ranchhodrai, as Lord Krishna is affectionately called in Gujarat, came to Dwarka from Mathura to build his new kingdom where he would later spend a significant part of his life. It is believed that immediately after the death of Lord Krishna and the consequent demise of the Yadav dynasty a massive flood swallowed all of Dwarka and submerged the city of gold to the bottom of the ocean. Today, the present Dwarka sits at the opening of the Gomti river on the Arabian Sea and is renowned for the Dwarkadheesh temple, among other notable historical and religious sites.

Hello Swapankumarroy,

I wonder if your notes did not load with the photograph.
It has happened to me on a number of occasions and you just have to edit the photograph to replace the notes.

This is a very beautiful sunset, the deep reds from the sun lighting the sky like a huge lamp. The effect on the sea is remarkable, dark closest to the horizon but with deep, blood-red colours in the f/g.
The sun is perfectly positioned in the frame.

Hi Swapan,

The wideness of the area is giving depth to the scene. The point of view is showing some details of the waves. The sunset is giving nice colours to the sky. Have a nice day.

A spectacular sunset with good sharpness and nice reflections off the water. The dark silhouette of the boat at left balances the composition. Tfs!

The sky is breathtaking; the golden-red tones and light is indeed a delight to witness when the fire ball just about setting behind. That's a beauty of nature wonder and heaven for any shooter to capture.

the sunset is perfectly photographed here. I liked the precious red hues in the water. I have some images of sunsets in this sea, one in daman and other in bombay, anyway not so colorful like this one.
