Funny you posted it... I mentionned, on one of a picture taken in the train, my eyes were attracted by the yellow of the sari and here is it again. Nice contrast between the yellow and the blue.

An interesting picture. Somehow man and woman do not seem completely to be lucky. The picture lives also on the intensive contrasts of the color red and blue. Very well is also the allocation of picture. Greeting, Wolfgang

Very nice! The yellow does match perfectly with the blue backround. They are warm colors that contrast with the dark left side of the force... Well shot, Arindam :)

Hello Arindam!
A very impressive shot of this lady in the train! The contrast between the yellow saree and the blue of Indian railways looks very nice.

Hey, Arindam, i just can't help being fixated on one half of your image, this superb batch of blues and blacks, with the yellow dress against it, and these marvellous fold curves. What a beautiful portrait of a woman! So, here I am, I aopologize but i co-opted your image to give it a WS that singles her out. Very special, and the expression is perfect as well, acknowledging you, but unassumingly. this gaze introduces a decisive moment more than we can guess at first.

Hi Arindam,
What catches my eye here are the gorgeous colours. That blue and yellow combination is a stunner. To catch images like these sitting on a train is really amazing.

Hi Arindam,
I liked yesterday's a bit more, though this one is very nice too. What I like is your cadrage. The balanced placement of elements. Also the colors are fantastic. What I preferred about yesterday's was its natural feel, how nobody noticed you. Here both of them are looking at you and I think it would be much more powerful if they were engaged in soemthing else, ignorant of your presence. Dont get me wrong though, still a very good shot, just in comparison with the brilliant one from yesterday it loses out.

Hi Arindam.

Arindam, these are so painterly, so beautiful. NOt only because of the insanely gorgeous colours--cobalt blue with bright sunflower yellow--but also, perhaps even more, because of the faces that speak volumes of these people on the train. To me, an eye-opener. I hope I get to your beautiful India one day!
Great work,
sasa

Very good composition and focus on this lady and good quality as well (probably to some extend thanks to the prime lens you used)...

Hello Arindam,

with excellent color tones and contrast, this is classic double portrait. the woman simply stands out with the stiff expression and eyes almost trying to tell her story. quality post indeed!
Best, Arnab
PS: is Sandip around?

You used the natural light very well Arindam. Like others, I like the contrast in colors as well. I also like your sharpness and the emotionless expression on the faces of the two.
Good daily life portrait.
