Photographer's Note
Finally we decided to turn back to the amazing scenery seen from the Kuari pass and began descending the very steep way that you can see here. The goal of this day, was to reach the meadow seen down there, the campsite for spending the night. That clearing is called Dhakwani and it can be reached after passing a small shepherds encampment at left, not seen from here. I was facing the sun for this capture, and avoided the sky to have a less burned imaged.
In WS, there's extra images:
WS1 - a diferent composition looking a bit to the right and with a treker descending;
WS2 - a shot taken at midway down, showing a diferent image of the Kuari pass.

The valley seems so deep and stone walking path is giving more idea about difficult environment. Ridges one within to other are creates wonderful background with their green textures and silhouettes. I like contrasts between left and rights banks with yellow dried grasses too. Your workshop photos also shows how sharp is the palace Congratulations.

Bonjour, mon ami Ricardo,

Excluding the sky was the right choice considering the bright sky, but by doing so I think you included too much of the grassy area in the foreground. Perhaps cropping the foreground a little would improve matters.
I did a quick WS to see how it would look.
Apart from that, I like this shot. It's a great view down the valley, and the fact that we are looking straight down emphasises the steepness of the descent.
Good work.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Ricardo,
I like this one, you play very well with light and colour, also the V type between the mountains gives this picture a very attractive environment, good quality picture.
Very well done! TFS.
Have a nice day,
John.

Sobidas e descidas! É bonita, but let's move on...

Hi Ricardo,
Details on the grasses on the f/g are pretty, the erosion on the mountain slope appears evident, and the layers on the b/g are appealing. Well presented, very scenic. Greetings! Danilo

Hi Ricardo
I really like this narrow valley between the mountains. The pathway is hard, does not it ?

Hi Ricardo.
Good depth and composition, but perhaps cropping the photo and with a more panoramic view could be better.

Josep

Hi Ricardo
Unfortunatelly I can`t admire you with this photograph. Although I like the light and interesting shape of the rock on the right, but there is not interesting view at all. In contrary, the view back on the Kuari pass is great. I feel there hight and want to breath deeper ;). I would replace these images :).

Again, it's the textures that stand out most for me. There's such a mixture. They produce nice earthy colours too. Again, another beautiful shot.
Best wishes

Hej Ricardo,
I find the inclusion of quite a big part of the the brown grass in front really good. It leads the eye nicely to the path further on. The shapes of the mountain at the right hand side look also very nice and interesting. The light management is also good I think. Well done!

I like the depth in this one...the jagged path in the valley going down into the depths (vertically) & the layers of mountains as we move in the BG. IM humble opinion what I find a bit lacking my friend, is something.. some object or a person, which perhaps would have given an additional dimension to the shot, something to lead us into this wonderful landscape post.
Best Regards
Angshu

Hi Ricardo,
If I am to compare your main post with the WS versions, I must admit that IMO your extra image#2 (looking back at Kuari Pass) is a real winner. You could have easily posted that as the primary post.

Oi Ricardo,

Otimo trabalho, parabens meu amigo.

Hello Ricardo,
Interesting to see the start of this narrow valley, a valley in a perfect V-shape!
A fine feeling of depth and wonderful variation in the colour palette...
A very attractive composition, simple but well working!

Ricardo,

abraços e feliz natal e ano novo
