Photographer's Note
Following my previous post, I present you the general view of Pana, at 2448m of altitude.
This village is reachable only by foot. We took about 6h of treking from Kuari Pass (4300m), after passing trough a thick forest in a trail with several steep ascents and descents. There's no running water or electricity here.
It's not easy to find plains in the Hymalaias (if at all possible), so people have to adapt to the steep morphology of these mountains. You can see the distribution of the houses, as if they were in an amphitheatre. The house I showed on my previous post is one of those.
The same happens with agriculture, using the system of terraces. There's several colors on those cultivated fields, but orange/yellow/red are the ones that attract ones eyes. I will show a closer view, in my next posts.

Hello neighbour!
This is a spectacular shot, and shows well how the people of this mountainous region literally carve a living from the rugged landscape.
I like how you framed this to exclude the sky, but again I question the need for so much foreground. Those bushes might have added to the feeling of depth in the scene, but as their colour is so similar to the background, they get a bit lost and don't really add anything. Personally, I'd have cropped them out.
This looks a great place to go trekking. It's amazing how varied the landscapes of the Himalayas are, this is so different to the high altitude desert of Ladakh that I visited recently.
Good stuff!
Cheers,
Ben

Saludos,
Josep

About the foreground there is maybe another solution that I tried in the WS ?
A fine POV to see down in this valley.

hi Ricardo
This is a stunning and fascinating view over this village. The colours are striking and the setting looks breathtaking. Good that you included the background mountains to put the village in context with its surroundings. I'm looking forward to seeing more shots from this amazing place!

Fascinating patterns in this picture.

Hi Ricardo
Your note, reminded of this book that had come across my research. "The Adaptable House" By Avi Friedman (A prof at McGill Univ in Montreal).
Nice drama of coulours and landascape in this photo.
thanks for the share
cheers .... Sarju
PS: I must say that the photos look soooo much better in their original size ;)

Hello Ricardo,
Beautiful POV you have choosen here, it feels like your sitting topring in a stadium, with the only difference, here you see everything. This view gives a good idea of the morphologic conditions these people are living in. There seem to be some paterns in the landuse if you go by the colors. Is by co-incidence?
Well done.

Hi Ricardo,
Pictures from the Himalayas always have a refreshing effect on me. Excellent bird's eye view of this Himalayan village, I guess most of the houses have slate roof. The diiferent coloured fields add a lot of variation. The light may not have been ideal, a little too strong perhaps but you have managed well.
Best Wishes

Bonjour, mon ami Ricardo,

Hi Ricardo,
A splendid sight of this village of altitude. I like very much the effect that this terrace cultivation produces. These fields with the various colors gives a graphic side to the photograph and much of relief. A photograph and a very interesting comment.

Fica bem.

Olá Ricardo,
Fantástica esta vista.
Adoro as diversas tonalidades do terreno.

Hej Ricardo,
Wonderful view over this village, located at a beautiful place in the mountains. You chose a good POV for this overview, that also shows a beautiful pattern and texture of the fields. The colours are also really nice and I like the inclusion of the blue mountains in the background. Very well captured and thanks for sharing!

Ola Ricardo
A fantastic pano shot from a high POV. Like the spctrum of colours on view...and the shapes, the houses with their slate roofs running along the slope, as are the farmlands in the distance. The drop in the BG to misty depths looks great, but it does appear that you encountered a wide variation of light here, somewhere a bit harsh, which you've handled admirably. Did you take only one shot or a couple of them with some overlap? If you have, then cropping the FG (which only for this shot is OK) & making the size ratio of 2.5:1, you can make a fantastic large version with this one, where the details, so small here will explode to life. If you do require help, do let me know, but I think this one deserves a bigger version my friend

Grande foto!

Welcome back Ricardo, happy to read from you again ! Soon it will be my time to take a break, but I'll be less disciplined than you, posting when I can but less often (it's true that TE can take so much time...)
About the photo : the thumnail does not indicate how beautiful this photo is, the constructions are like in a circle, and the field in terraces are climbing till the sky, with other villages in the far : very good composition,
Bravo,
Cath.
