Animesh-da, I prefer this one over the previous post. This one has the essence of a classic with the presence of certain structures in it. The wash effect is working indeed.

After the deluge you supplied us with another moody beautiful scene. It's as if the condensation has formed on your lens and created this hazy effect. I don't know how you got these two photos to look like this, but it's really nice.

I am of the impression that words alone can't describe this work of yours.Probably its best to keep your mouth shut when u see these kind of shots ..... this is moody. this is scenic,this is abstract, this is poetic, this is really a treat to watch..

Hello,
We often watch many a photographs of monsoon, but this recent exhibition from you is teaching all of us a new lesson about the subject. I think the idea of taking the shot from behind the glass created the unexpected magic. Drench us with more magical drops of rain!

A beautiful Holga-like impressionistic look here, Animesh! You have clearly mastered the depiction of rain--its mood, the all-encompassing dampness, its muting of all color, the ways we cope with it. Your monsoon photographs seem like a dramatic ode to the human tragedy. The tension, impregnated with a poetic out of focus (hence unreasonal) vision, talks to our senses more than it describes a place or a laps of time. Every image in this series seems like an assemblage of elements that strike me deeply. Question of punctum, the way Barthes would put it.

I saw your previous monsoon image and didn't comment because I thought it had the mood though it lacked a higlight, the mood was like a backdrop, the rythm, I thought it still lacked a melody, something you can easily whistle under you shower, a particular story to go with, the focus point, the hero in the scene (referig to Barthes and Gal's words my own punctum), despite the brilliant text and studium accompanying it... and there it comes in this one... rainy, rural and dreamy.

Animesh! How are you, it's been awhile. Very nice work since I last came on. Very moody stuff here. This one has a great atmosphere to it, you can really feel the moisture---hope your camera got out of this in one piece!
