Wet, grey and miserable - could be your average summer's day here in the UK!
Shooting through the windscreen has worked well - the raindrops on the glass combined with the umbrellas convey the dampness very effectively.
I like the look if the Tri-X - the dark graininess enhances the atmosphere.
Good work Animesh.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Animesh,
It is a beauty with many spots. Actually spots are giving nice depth to the scene. Good presentation of a simple scene into very attractive manner.

"I know what you did last summer" Animesh, you spent many hours stalking wet Bengalis.
Another lovely image, the windshield effect is a really nice idea as it acts as a natural vignette (I recently learned what 'vignetting' is, and I am proud to use the word for the first time in TE). I think if you cropped out the little white sky over the trees on the left it would have worked better. The downward dagger formed by the sky on the right would have received more prominence. Maybe I will try the WS later.
PS" okay, just added the Workshop

Another extraordinary shot from Bengal. This series has been an epiphany (for us at least...). Here you have the added treat of the car frame. You are hitting so many artistic highs with this series, Animesh. Rain is your best friend.

hello Animesh,
I like your serie very much ! it has a tremendous atmosphere, quite wet :) but nevertheless very attractive. I admit that i like your title of the serie very much :"my summer in India" :D (spoken from sarcasm :D) i hope you had not too much trouble with the weather there. we thank you for this beautiful serie, we as tourists try always to avoid these months and will never have photos like yours ...

I initially thought the front of the ambassador (?) was taking too much room in your compo ... Finally after assimilating the shapes of the car ... you will like it. You will always get him with such traveling flavor ... I just wish you could brightne a bit some areas ...

Exceptional. You have seen it so well. Your framing the sene with the drops on the windshield has added to the overall mood.
