Photographer's Note

This one was taken in Borobudur, Java. Borobudur is one of the biggest and most stunning Buddhist monuments in the world, and dates back to the 9th century.
The monument comprises six square platforms topped by three circular platforms, and is decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues. A main dome is located at the center of the top platform, and is surrounded by seventy-two Buddha statues seated inside perforated stupas.

Borobudur sits on top of a hill, and is surrounded by jungle and distant mountains. The best time to visit is early morning. It is around 45mins drive from Yogyakarta.
