Photographer's Note
Florès, I was walking on the beach, coming back from Nangahale, theese two fishermen were coming back; one oof them seemed like walking on the sea...
With the sun setting light crossing this old sail, it was a good moment;for me not for them, only very small fishes.

Salut Joel,
Bravo.

Beautiful shot. I really like your compo and the cut off human torso at the top of the frame is essential to the success of this image. Without that small bit the shot itself would have appeared normal. The only thing I dislike are the colors, perhaps it would be better to turn this shot into B&W given the dullness of the RGB. Anyway, good work here, a semi-complex compo that works and makes you wonder. Well done.

Hi Joel
I had waited till the other man was totally in the scene as the man in front is looking there, if the seawalker was only in the background, ok , but here he get all the focus as the most important element in the shot, therefore cutting is only a bit of a disturbing gimmick, I hope you don't mind my personal impression rather doubting some new approaches that a shot has to disturb the viewer in an empiric way to seak attention.
A pleasant scene of the fishermen, gives me a lot of nostalgic feeling for the time I was living with them, thanks for sharing.
Warm greetings

Fil is right, the cut off torso gives this photo a nice twist that makes it very oroginal, and slightly strange and surprising. But I like the dull RGB here, the subtelty is not overpowering and we focus on the composition...but theres enough vibrancy here that its still better in color.

tres beau travail,
Francis
