Photographer's Note
This is the sulphorous lake of Mt. Kintamani and Batur in Bali Indonesia. The other mountain not seen in the picture but is to the rightside is Mt. Agung. All the three have been active volcanoes and dormant now. Some activity is seen every now and then, especially in Mt. Agung which burst so hard around 1969 that it not only destroyed one of the oldest temples - Besakih in its bed but was powerful enough to sink a US ship many kilometer into the sea.
This is a very famous tourist spot. Anyone who visits Bali has to see the beauty of the lake and the Mountains topping it off to the Besakih temple to get divine blessings.
