Photographer's Note

This was taken while I was at a jazz concert.

He was busy listening to the music, listening to his portable radio(he was listening to old Japanese music on it, check the WS), scribbling something on the paper, and again back to the jazz music.

I don't know if he noticed me taking his pictures. He sat next to me so I just faced the camera lense as I noticed that he was doing something else, and just took some shots. Maybe other people noticed me doing it though.

He was in his suits, wearing a hat, looked quite a gentle man in the music live concert place.

hello lauryn,
you captured a significant moment.
he completely concentrated what he is writing.
i like the scene very much.
however i would try to drive the attention more to his hands and face.

nice close up here, a good candid capture. good lighting on his face too, perhaps cud be a bit sharper though.
