Photographer's Note
The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum is a sobering place, especially so when one sees hundreds of children , members of dozens of school excursions, filing past gruesome exhibits and disturbing images, many of which are of twisted fingernails and bits of school uniforms that belonged to the innocent children, who, according to the notes accompanying the exhibits, crawled home in order to die there, in the arms of their parents (the ones who were not incinerated)and it is these parents who kept the aforementioned keepsakes.
As I watched these overwhelmingly quiet and respectful children, I was wondering what were their thoughts as for instance in this case, they looked at the model of Hiroshima before the devastation.
By the way, the previous shot and this one were taken without tripod and without flashlight. I am surprised by the clarity and DOF.
In workshop you can see the model of the aftermath. No wonder that the children and adults alike were subdued. The horror, the horror of it all.

Hi Klaudio,
a thoutful note and an interesting documentary photo in best quality. I presume, the city models represents the town as it was before the bombing. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Klaudio,
This is a very interesting photo but one that owes a lot to the note. These could have been just sightly bored kids on a visit to any local museum. Knowing about the place and circumstances we see them in a different light and realize their feelings of awe and sorrow, so far from boredom.
Isn't it amazing that none of those responsible for the destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were ever brought to justice?
The sharpness and light management of this photo are remarkable.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Klaudio,
This photo is both well-presented, and thought-provoking. I recently saw a television documentary about Hiroshima that talked to survivors of this horror. It showed photos of the scene that are depicted in your WS photo. I like the composition of this shot, with the model in the foreground, and all of the thoughtful faces of the children.

Merhaba Klaudio, I wonder if such kind of works or efforts would be enough to prevent the children from being adults who make inhuman decisions when they are grown up and if they take critical positions in government in future. Your pov is again very good to show us both the curious expressions of the children's faces, and Hiroshima. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice week.

Another good picture from same place worth commenting. Compliments to your experience and technique, hand held and slow shutter but still managed to present a nice shot. Lovely natural light, the display certainly helps to illuminate the faces greatly. Colors, light and contrast are good, above all I love the compostion. The display as main focal has drawn eyes into the scene provided by the bright blue curve and this enhances the depth further. And specks of diff colors intensify the visual effect as a whole producing a very pleasing image. Another fine photo effort, Congrasts. Thks for sharing. Salam
