Photographer's Note
Walking down the street
Distant memories
Are buried in the past forever
.....
.....
Listening to the wind of change
-Scorpions:Wind of Change
Around the gallery around the moivie area of the Kabukicho, at the background of so many people sleeping on the street, this man was there staring, no where in particular while I bent down to bring him into my frame, perhaps at his future?....

Hi Premanand,
Thanks for your note, it's interesting because it discover the photographer's thinkings and the motivations for the shot. I think your interpretation is interesting. I see in the whole shot loneliness... everyone is alone, at his own life. In addition, the light is very well, and the viewpoint you has chosen too. Congratulations, great shot! Thanks.

Hi Prem
the title could also have been 'burried in the past', most accurate guiding remark in the note. Here you got a pure two levelled layer compo with the sharp forground potrait and the suggestive strong background subject, well choice, the reverse would not go as the background is too far. I has sometime strong your two subjects brought together to depict a less happy side of the life here, aparently one of lonelyness and isolation, quite frightening.

Greetings Premanand.
A very interesting shot. The rather neutral colors and very detatched background of people set a very distant mood to aid the focus on your subject. His intent look into the distance adds a nice mood of suspense to your photo. Good lighting on the subject and well done framing.
Best wishes,
Chris

Hi Prem. I like this one - it shows a less glitzy side of Japan, and it is a fine work of environmental portraiture with the contemplative look of the guy sitting outside the cinema. Good framing to have him at the left side, and his whole pose is opening towards the space inside your frame, into which his thoughts seem to be wandering. Nice shot.

Hi Prem,
Excellent composition and thanks for showing that largely unknown side of Japan. Good use of the DOF. Well Done!
