Dans les CATéGORIES j'ai choisi CéRéMONIE et EVéNEMENT pour cette photo de novembre 2008.
Et pour cause.
C'était la fête de Shichi-go-san très importante pour chaque enfant japonais dans leur chemin pour devenir adulte et ce petit garçon de 3 ans est déjà presque grand.

Shichi-go-san (七五三, Shichi-go-san, littéralement « sept-cinq-trois ») est l'une des trois fêtes qui célèbrent les enfants. C’est un rite de passage traditionnel au Japon célébrant les enfants de trois ans, les garçons de cinq ans et les filles de sept ans, tenu annuellement le 15 novembre. Le Shichi-go-san n’est pas un jour chômé et se déroule traditionnellement le week-end le plus proche du 15 novembre.

Hi Elizabeth,

You're capturing well this scene of Shichi-go-san by a good angle and excellent B/W tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the kids who wears a uniform and has a thing like a camera in the hand before a baby carriage. It's good at the contrast between the stone ground and black, too. And, the shadow projected to the ground gives a strong impact in this image. Have a nice weekday!

Hi Elisabeth,
A nice cute shot, he is very serious hehe. The shadows and the light, as well the geometry of the angle works well, making this stand out.
