Photographer's Note
This man was taking a huge pig for a walk. I decided to follow them. This pig was on a mission and it can best be described as "making bacon". I won't be posting that picture although I took it.

I tried a WS to increase the contrast of the picture, hope you like it!
I think it's a sad but true subject for a pic and I support your choice of B&W.

As usual, I like yours pictures. This one remains me my grand father in western France : our major common point with Japan is that 60 yeras ago,France was mainly a rural country as well.
I had a look at the workshop and I think it is a bit too dark. But maiby a little darket of this shot would give strengh. It is a difficult thing because it is so easy to burn these greys. But a little darker would help to give them a little more "taste" and "velouté".
Once, please explain what you were doing in north Japan in the 60's. :-)
