This is a very well composed shot of the student and his dojo. Gives a very good sense of place, making it a successful travel photo. It is a bit dark, though. I wish his face was illuminated a bit more. His right arm appears to be in sunlight, so perhaps if he took a step to the right his face and wood chest plate would be illuminated more. That one step would also put his face in front of the white column in the background, creating more contrast.

I would have liked more light gray colours but it's very attractive. I think it would be even more beautiful on paper...

This shot is very nice. Great composition and a perfect's quiet and martial attitude but I think it's too dark, no ?
Atmospher is well returned.
