Asakusa is the part of Tokyo, Japan famous for the city's oldest temple, Sensou-ji (浅草寺)...

Founded in AD628 with a quaint legend attached to it... the story goes that two young brothers fishing in the nearby Sumida River netted a golden image of Kan’non, the Buddhist goddess of mercy...

Shot was taken with a film camera, converted to a digital image...
