Photographer's Note

I’ve mentioned several times now that what I find the most fascinating about Japan is the eclectic mix of new and old. There is a lot of traditional stuff to admire (and photograph): architecture, occupations, festivals, the alphabet, Buddhist and other ancient traditions. But it’s also the kind of country where you find mind-blowing technology and magnificent modern structures.

Rainbow Bridge joins Japanese “mainland” of Honshu island with Odaiba, a man-made island in Tokyo Bay. There is a fast train that runs along the bridge and it’s an easy an rewarding a few hours’ trip worth taking while visiting the capital of Japan.

I know this is not exactly an appropriate upload to say this but... I’d like to wish all my TE friends a Happy Easter! J
