Photographer's Note
This was the yummy ending to my teishoku (set) lunch in the D-Square building. One thing that is nice about Japan is the sense of aesthetic. Notice how the desserts are pleasingly placed to appeal to the eye, not only the palate. In America you'd almost never see this kind of presentation unless one was at a relatively expensive & fancy restaraunt. However this was taken at an average lunch spot in an office building. The whole lunch cost about $12. In Japan, they don't just throw food on a plate and say here you go, enjoy. This kind of sense is part of the culture and learned at a young age.
So here you go. Enjoy.

Hello Mike,
I like your presentation of this well-presented dessert. :-) The black and white plate makes a nice back-drop. I hope you enjoyed the sweets. Oishii desu ka? :-) Your photo is going straight into my dessert theme.
