It is -5 Celsius at Symbulak ski resort. Perfect temperature for a day of skiing and sight seeing.

Symbulak ski resort is only 45 minutes by road and another 20 minutes by cable car away from Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan.

Impossible de tricher quant à la température extérieure, c'est affiché !
L'on sent poindre des éclaircies sur les versants de la montagne.

Looks a little chilly but oddly enough the coldest place I have ever been was Seoul in South Korea where it was -25c! Suceava in Romania wasn't much better at -21c. -5C seems almost tropical in comparison. Good sharpness and a soft diffused light. I may have selected highlights, inverted and brightened. Tfs!

Indeed, Almaty in winter looks different than on my spring pictures. I hoped to go as high as Shymbulak but in May no cable lifts worked, it was the ens of the ski season and there was no one there. Wonderful mountains.
