Photographer's Note

Hi Folks,

It has been more than half a year since the passing of my better half.

I choose this picture as it depicts my mood for those long weeks since her passing.

The solemn fragile mood alike this scene of the bamboo bridge across the Nam Khan river which meets Mekong River in Luang Prabang town. The bridge gets washed away during the wet season and needs to be rebuilt after each wash off.

This was our last trip overseas together. A trip where we seek solitude and answers together.

In her memory. A bridge over calm waters.
