Sunset at the Drain, a photo from Sarawak, Est

Photographer's Note

This is actually a big drain from the town flowing out to the sea. It is strange that such a odd place would have a beautiful sunset despite of the not so pleasant smell. I had to stop my car on the roadside to capture that amazing moment despite queer looks from all the cars passing by.

Nice composition of this sunset. The drain adds a lot (not just smell ;-) to this shot as it results in a line flowing towards the center of focus. It makes this sunset more interesting.

This is what I call great marketing, I mean you have turned an awful disgusting place into a place of beauty and magic, I am sure you could convince hoards of tourists to visit this site with this photo alone, the dark shadows, the warm sky colours and the reflection, this is just great,
